Hi Adamshurst Management

I made this website to help you figure out what to do next time you make a double booking. I know it won't help me much, but I just think that the way you handled my double booked wedding reception was less than ideal, so I thought you could use the advice.

Please have a read through, you may even want to bookmark this website, so that you can reference it in future.

Here are some things that you should NOT do with function bookings:

• Double book my wedding reception
• Realise it is double booked only 10 days before my wedding
• Tell me that there is NO WAY that we can have that venue for the reception
• Give the venue to a 21st birthday party instead of my wedding reception
• Offer to cram my reception into a small room next to the 21st birthday party
• Ignore my emails

Now, I'm not in the hospitality industry, so I wouldn't know what the standard practice is when a venue double books two functions, but I am pretty sure that it is not standard practice to just decide which party you are going to offer the venue to and tell the other party that they have no choice.

Finding out what you shouldn't do is one way to learn about customer service, but I think it may not be the best way (negative reinforcement and all), so I was hoping I could get some help from people who have successfully dealt with a situation like this in the past.
